The single-use liquid flow sensor LD20 enables fast and reliably detection of failure modes like occlusion, air-in-line or free flow. The integration into one single chip ensures that the sensitive analog sensor signals can be amplified, digitized and processed with high precision but without interference. The measurement principle allows to measure very low flow rates which are typical for medical devices.
Each sensor is fully calibrated and provides a linearized digital signal. The sensor chip is enclosed in a plastic housing to deliver a cost-effective solution for high volume applications. Directly integrated into the infusion set, our sensors measure the flow rate in tubing in real time, ensuring unprecedented reliability for infusion therapies. Flow sensors provide the opportunity to increase the safety of patients, ease workloads of nursing staff and reduce health care costs.
